So You Say You Want a Revolution? Ybor City, Communist Cuba and Key West

A look at the history of Ybor City and its ties to Cuba and Key West. The talk will look at how the Ybor City cigar industry came into existence and how it unintentionally helped pave the way for Communism in Cuba. The talk will also discuss Key West’s cigar history as it relates to Ybor City along with the original buildings in Ybor and the purposes they serve now.
