One Nation, Two Realities: Dueling Facts in American Democracy

April 2 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

$35

Are you ready for another federal election year?! Why does the U.S. currently have such deep, extreme polarization of viewpoints, especially in the political arena? Why do we have such a difficult time understanding a relative, friend, or fellow worker’s opposing beliefs and their subsequent actions? What makes us tend to gravitate towards liberalism or conservatism and their respective political parties? The key to understanding the answers to these questions and negotiating the difficult path of connecting and understanding the other is learning about moral matrix theory—the evolution of human morality and its resultant existence of dueling facts perceptions and beliefs.
