Introduction to Pickleball

Join Bill and Karla Gerczak, Ambassadors for the Atlantic South Region, USA Pickleball Association in this popular OLLI class. Learn how to play a game that combines the elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Pickleball offers the same benefits as regular exercise but with fewer injuries due to the low impact nature of the game. Learn the rules and scoring of the game and delve into basic strategy. Each class will feature instruction followed by guided practice.
Participants will need to bring their own paddles. This activity requires a signed release and waiver form in order to participate.
