Anticipating Solar Eclipses in Florida

September 26 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

$25

Since the dawn of humanity, solar eclipses have symbolized everything from harbingers of doom to spiritual awakenings. Modern science has transformed these once-feared phenomena into literally indescribable events that still captivate observers. In anticipation of the annular solar eclipse on October 14 and the total solar eclipse in April, 2024, this course provides an introduction to the science behind solar eclipses and their impact on our culture. Solar eclipses are bucket-list events, so don’t blink or you’ll miss it!
