Anatomy of Disasters in Tampa Bay

Gain a deeper understanding of some of Tampa Bay’s greatest maritime tragedies in this discussion, including the collision of the Summit Venture and the Sunshine Skyway and the sinking of the CGC Blackthorn. Instructor Jerry Knight was at both events and provides engrossing first-person accounts as he explores their complexities and commonalities. Multiple lives were lost in these disasters. However, Knight shows how removing one component of each event might have prevented them.
